Can u give me ur opinion on having gum implants?

Q. My husband had two back teeth removed (one by mistake) when he was in his 40’s and he is now 74 and has receding gums. On the whole his teeth are still very good but he is bothered by not being able to chew properly and with today’s technology we wondered if he would be able to have implants fitted with this gum problem? We live in Spain and he did visit a dentist who told him she couldn’t do it. Could you advise and is it worth going for a second opinion?

A. Provided there is enough bone present or a graft is possible he should be able to have implants( provided he is not medically compromised).  Definitley seek a second opinion
