Can specialist treat daughter’s condition?
Q. my daughter has sucked her thumb all her life and her top[ teeth are sort of pushed upwards but are not forward as in buck , when she smiles you can just about seeher front two , it seems to of un lined her jaw what can be done and how much will it cost, can you advise a specialist to deal with this if its needed for her case,
A. It depends how old she is. If she is young then a brace might help but if she is older then surgery might be her only option. Perhaps you should ask your dentist to refer her to a local specialist.
