Can I wear fixed and removable retainers simultaneously?
Q. Can I wear fixed and removable retainers simultaneously as I can’t decide between the two?
A. Yes but not on the same jaw – ie fixed on the upper and removable on the lower. However it is usual not to mix as if you are wearing a fixed brace on one arch then it should make little difference to you to wear one on the other arch
