Can I have veneers on my bottom teeth?

Q. Hi My two bottom front teeth aren’t straight or next to each other and as such don’t look good. I did look at invisalign but for just this correction it seemed very expensive and took too long! Can I get veneers on bottom teeth? Thanks,
A. I use lingual brackets (tongue side of lower teeth) to unravel the lower teeth into a straight position and usually takes between 6 to 12 weeks !! Far better than veneers – although these are possible too

Over the last 6 years I have had two lots of porcelain veneers fitted to my top four front teeth by my local dentist. My firts set felt thick and heavy and unconfortable in my mouth so at the beginning of this year I had a second lot fitted. These feel thinner but I still have a constant awareness of them in my mouth as if they are not part of me and sometimes they make my jaws ache.Do you have any advise? Is it worth having them done again and if so how can I be assured that they will be an improvement on the last two sets I had. They are making my life a misery and I cannot see a solution to this problem.Any advise would be very much appreciated.

Hi I would advise you to seek a second opinion with an experienced cosmetic dentist, someone who has a lot of experience with the management of the bite. Best wishes.
