Can I have implants placed on my remaining healthy roots?

Q. Hi, I have two molars missing on the left side of my mouth, one on the top and one on the bottom. The roots are still there and according to my dentist still healthy. He has said do I want the roots removed? They are not causing me any problems, but I was wondering can a titanium implant be put into my roots. My two front teeth, I lost when I was 11 from a bad fall and I now have false teeth on posts into my roots, which are very healthy. Can an implant be put into my other two teeth onto the roots?,
A. If the roots are removed it is possible to place dental implants to replace the roots and act as foundations for new crowns
