Can i have implants on the receding gums

Q. I had crowns put on about 7 years ago and need them replaicing but have been told i have reciding gums and i am very concernd that i wont be able to have them replaced and also need inplants can i still have inplants?

A. You can have implants provided any gum disease is under control and there is enough bone to accept the implants. You probably just need your crowna replaced.

I have an upper partial dental plate which I am sort of getting used to but still finding it difficult to place in my mouth first thing as it makes me gag then after about 20 mins or so this settles down.

I have receding gums which my dentist said is hereditory (I clean, floss and brush twice a day) is it possible to have implants placed in receeding gums also what sort of price range would thins be?

Thank you

I appear to have receeding gums. Ideally I would like to save my teeth. Is it possible to have a bone graft to safe your own teeth and if so how much would this costs? Also I have read somewhere on the internet and that it possible to replace gums by taking tissue from the roof of your mouth and stitching it to your gums. If this is true could you let me have an idea of the cost so I know whether or not I can afford it. Thanks

Gum grafting works well for recession if the teeth are non mobile and you’re a good candidate.Prices vary so arrange to see a gum specialist (Periodontist) for a full quotation.
