can I have implants on the nhs

Q. Hi i recently had a baby who is now 10 months i know i am entitled to free nhs dental care which runs out in May 2009 my question is can i have implants for my missing incisor and what can be done for my creeping front teeth which i noticed recently and when i asked a dentist he said that this is usual as one gets older nothing can be done and in extreme cases the solution would be braces which is expensive and involves pulling out the back teeth i have also noticed my teeth starting to rot at a very fast pace what can i do ?

A. The NHS is not likely to cover treatments that are cosmetic, or things like implants. Any NHS treatment plan opened before May09 will be free even if it is completed after may 09 ( nb there is a time limit that treatment plans remain open)
I recommend seeing a couple of dentists for treatment plans then deciding on the right path to follow.
