Can I have dentistry whilst pregnant?

Q.
I am 13 weeks pregnant & 2 of my teeth have crumbled the last time i was pregnant my dentist refused to treat is the a reason as to why this would be ??
A.
Dental treatment during pregnancy is generally advised to be limited to emergency or stabilising treatment only, to limit exposure of mother and baby to stress and anaesthetic drugs. However treatment is in most cases very safe. If you have urgent problems it’s better to have them treated rather than risk the consequences of complications should things deteriorate further

I have developed a gap in my top front teeth from bone loss through gum disease. Is tooth bonding possible? I also have an over bite. I am currently pregnant and getting the gum problems under control. The gap in my teeth has really knocked my confidence and I refuse to smile in pictures now. I was also wondering if invisible braces work for quite a bad over bite? I was told when I was younger I had a protruding tongue? And it wasn’t worth having a brace?

Invisible braces might work but you need to sort out the gum problems first, perhaps start after you have had your baby?
