Can I have a metal crown replaced with a porcelain one?

Q.
I have just had a silver crown fitted to one of my teeth 2nd from the back bottom row. I really do not like the look of this, can I have it removed and fitted with a white crown?
A.
If it was done on the Nhs then you will struggle. You would have to pay a private fee to get a porcelain crown on this tooth.
