Can I get my teeth pulled off instead of getting root canal treatment
Q. I have braces and when I started my treatment I was told they wanted to pull four teeth out two top and two bottom but I didn’t do it. I was recently told I now have a root canal can i posibly get them pull and allow for the braces to just close the gap so i wont have to get a root canal? Thank you.
A. Maybe it depends where that tooth is as if you only have one tooth taken out your jaw will loose its symmetry and the teeth can look uneven. It is generally better to try to save the tooth or look at having 2 teeth taken out. I would rather you try to save the tooth but discuss this with your orthodontist.
