Can I get help for relapsed teeth?

Q. Hi, I was told by my dentist when I was about 11 that my teeth were too big for my mouth and I would need braces. my top and bottom front teeth had begun to overlap. I saw an orthodentist and had 4 teeth extracted from the top and bottom at the back on each side I then wore a retainer for a while and went on to a fixed brace after, for about 18 months. My teeth started to overlap again about a year later and now i’m 21 and dont know what to do to straighten them. I’ve changed dentists since I had my braces as they had closed the surgery and have had trouble ever since finding a denist who will sit down for more than 5 secs and talk to me about it. Please could you advise me on what sort of treatment I would need for this problem and if theres a way that wouldnt cost me thousands of pounds that i dont have. Thanks,
A. Unfortuantly when it comes to straightening teeth there are not many options. If you don’t want to go through braces again then there is another option for straightening teeth called Invisalign. Not everyone is suitable so you’ll need to have a consultation to see if you’re suitable. We have a dentist who works at Umbrella smiles every Friday that is giving complementary consultations if you are interested. The reason why your teeth have probably overlapped again is because you needed to wear a retainer after you completed your treatment.
