can height be added to crown once they are put in place?

Q. Dear Dr. Moore, I had 3 upper left molars replaced by pins/crowns, and 2 lower left molars replaced by crowns, and a cantilever bridge placed where a tooth was missing. They were done last year and I have noticed that my front teeth does all the grinding of food. Also recently when I chew my incisors are biting into the inner tissue of my lip? I still need to have two crowns to replace one upper and one lower right molar. Can height be added to crowns once they are put in place? Many thanks.

A. If thye crowns are built up too much then the bite will feel uncomfortable or the crowns will break. the new crowns will need to be at the same level as the others
