Can bonding cover up visible silver caps?
Q. My 5 year old daughter had to get 2 silver caps on her lower back teeth they are visible and she is very upset. The kids are starting to tease her at school and they are the only option for treatment. I was wondering if Bonding would stick to the tooth to cover the silver. Looking forward to your response.
A. This is not possible – she must have had very decayed teeth and the silver caps should reduce the chances of her loosing space for her adult teeth in the future.
My 5 year old is scheduled to get 2 silver caps put on back molars next month. Are there any options for white/clear coverings instead of the silver so she doesn’t get teased?
