Can a tooth extraction and a dental implant take place in the same day?
Q. Can an extraction of a damaged tooth and an implant procedure take place on the same day? And: if one is having an extraction take place, is it ok to have it done by any dentist, ie: would it be better to have the extraction done by an implant specialist, do they do extractions? Thanks,
A. It might be best for the implant guy to take out the tooth as he might beable to place the implant at the same time. He’s also more likely to take care of the bone to allow future placemnt if an implant.
