are there any less expensive alternatives to fix my overbite for my two front teeth

Q. I have recently been given a quote to fix the overbite for my two front teeth, £2500 using clearstep, taking around 12-16 Months and I was informed that I would have to have a peramant fixed retainer fixed to the back of my teeth. Also was told to get a ‘perfect’ smile and bite I should get my bottom teeth done as well for £2000 more. Does this sound correct or am I being ripped off? It sounds really expensive, are there any similar alternatives? Thanks

A. Prices do vary from case to case & around the country. the typical fees for private orthodontics are around 4-6000. for both arches. so the fees don’t sound unreasonable. I would expect most systems to be similar. pre veneer aligners are cheaper than this but don’t achieve the same result hope this helps Rob
