Any advice to help ease pain in my gum after a tooth extraction?

What can i use to stop pain in the gum as i have had a tooth removed today but i still i have pain like i did when the tooth was in i have been useing cold water but i dont think its any good as the pain just comes back when i stop i have try all sorts of pain killers its no good dont work thank you

you should go back to your dentist immediately to seek advice as to what may be causing the pain, and maybe you will need stronger medication for a few days

I had a tooth removed last week ,but i am still in a lot of pain ,i have a lot of ear ache,will it ease or should i go back,
