An X-ray showed that my root canal filling didn’t go all the way down the canal, is this a problem and when should the pain go away?

I had root canal treatment yesterday and concerned that the xray afterwards showed that the root filling did not fill to one of the end of the canals, is this likely to casue problems?
secondly i am quite a bit of pain, how long should the pain take to die down a bit

The pain should go in the next few days, filling the canal right to the bottom isn’t always necessary or in some cases possible, but it is desirable to fill the canal as tightly as possible. See how it goes it should work out fine
