Am I too old for Invisalign? and would my Veneers be an issue?

Q.
Hello,
I have two questions….
1/ I am 53yrs..Am I too old to have Invisalign ?
2/ I did have a brace in my 30’s which straightened my teeth to a certain level but I still have two veneers to make my teeth look as even as possible. If I did have treatment, would these veneers to be removed during treatment?
Thanks
A.
Hi

1. Not at all. I’m treating a lady in her 70s right now!

2. Wherether or not the veneers need to be removed we could ascertain for you at your examination appointment. It’s possible that there are 2 ways to treat you. I’d advise coming for a consultation and we could give you all the answers and options then

Hope that helps

Is there a maximum age for successful straightening with the invisalign braces?

No there doesn’t appear to be a maximum, it all depends on the type of crowding and bite rather than age
