Implants to replace damaged tooth

Q. Dear Dr Caplan I have what I think ? is a (2-1-1-2) bridge. I broke it eating a spare rib. It’s still in place but pushed forward. Because I’ve a fear of dental drills I thought it would be better if I consulted a cosmetic dentist who could “knock me out” so to speak and fit implants so that I wouldn’t have to go through regular dental treatment anymore. Also, my gums bleed quite often though I’m very careful about my dental hygene. What do you advise? Thank you for your kind attention.,
A. I wold need to assess you first of all as their may be other treatment options for you.  Implants are often an excellent solution but you will need to be examined with X-rays and/or a CT scanner to assess your bone for the implants to be placed into if appropriate.  Please contact my surgery for and appointment
