Q. I had a crown fitted (right front tooth, top) about 30 years ago which included work into the gum (including metal pin fitted). Two days ago, I tripped and fell and broke the whole crown off from the gum. I would like to know how much a replacement would cost, baring in mind I am currently unemployed and appreciate costs normally run into hundreds of pounds? I am currently not registered with a dentist and wonder if it could be done on the NHS?
