Q. I have a tooth that has been root canneled and crowned, now the top part broken,so the base remains in the gum. should i extract it or keep it in my gum. i heard it can keep gum not to receed to fast. is it right? Right now it doesn’t bother me. but dentist think it will get inflamed someday.
A. You need to have it assessed if it is infected it needs to be removed, you can always have an implant to replace it.
