Q. Hey, I used to have upper and lower fixed braces when I was about 12 up until I was 19. The upper set was (apparently) pulling my jaw back inline as i had a slight over bite (u could just fit a finger tip in). I had the top set removed when i was 17 and the bottom removed at 19. My question is that I have noticed that within the last 3 or 4 months my top front left hand ( my left) tooth is starting to twist. The only way I can describe it is that it is like my teeth are moving forward and the right hand tooth is almost forcing itself underneith it. I wouldnt say that it causes me discomfort but I can feel the pressure of it twisting like I felt when I had braces. Do you have any ideas what may be causing this? My own dentist says that this sometimes just happens over time as we age however Im only coming up for 22!! Im worried it will carry on twisting and i will end up with it protruding, I didnt go through 7 years of pain for twisted teeth!,
