Q. I have had 2 gold caps in the past 2 years, & the gums tend to swell up from time to time, so badly that I have to use adcortyl cream , the Dentist i go to is private , but is so busy it is hard to get an appointment. I want more work done on both sides of my back teeth , but am worried whatever i have done will result in the gums doing the same thing.
A. Some people are sensitive to metals usually you would notice with watches / rings / belt buckles etc. It might be problem with the marginal seal. Either or both problems can be solved by replacing with all ceramoic crowns such as procera, a guide price is 5-800 per procera crown.
