i have a front protunding tooth what do you suggest implant or bridges

Q. HELLO, PLEASE CAN YOU HELP I AM 55YRS OLD MY GUMS ARE NOT IN GOOD CONDITIONING, AND I HAVE ONE PROTUNDING TOOTH IN THE FRONT THAT IS GETTING WORSE, I DO NOT KNOW TO HAVE A BRACE, HAVE A IMPLANT OR HAVE 2 TEETH TAKEN OUT AND HAVE A BRIDGE PUT IN, WHAT WOULD YOU SUGESST? I KNOW IT IS DIFFCULT WHEN YOU HAVE NOT SEEN ME. Kind Regards

A. A bridge probably isn’t the best option- as you are compromising the health of 2 seperate teeth. An implant wit a fixed crown is often a good option, but firstly, you need to stabilise your gums before any treatment is done. If you have gum disease, then this is possibly the main cause of the tooth moving position anyway. Orthodontics is also a good option- but again, no treatment will be done until you can see an improvement with your gums. Ideally, you need to see a cosmetic dentist for a consultation to discuss these options in detail.
