I had a crown for the last 25 years with no problems, but my gums were lifted quite high and are showing some black

Q. I had a crown for the last 25 years with no problems, but my gums were lifted quite high and are showing some black. this is causing me some problems as I find difficult to smile without be imbarassed. I have not visit a dentist for the last 10 years. I’m 55.

A. It sounds like the crown needs replacing, this should be quite a straightforward procedure it would be good to find a dentist maybe one recommended by a friend
