Can i get dental implants on the nhs

Q. I have read conflicting advice about the availability of dental implants on the nhs. could you please tell me if it IS available for people with more than 6 missing teeth, and also how do I find out more Thank you

A. Implants are not available on the NHS. The only way you could get them at a low cost is to go to a dental school and ask if you register as a patient, they may be able to offer you implants. Failing that you would have to go private. Replacing 6 teeth with implants would cost in the region of £10,000 to £15000
Kind regards
