What can I do,to reduce the pain in gums when exposed to cold?

Hi Doctor, I live in a cold climate and have a very painful experience in my gums each time I have been exposed to the cold. The throbbing and shooting pains start about half an hour after the walk and last for about 15 minutes. The pain is in all my gums. My teeth also become very sensitive during this time.My gums and teeth, although there is gum receeding happening, are in very good condition. I have my teeth cleaned regularly, and keep my teeth very clean. Please help, what can I do?

I have receeding gums, can anything be done to correct this?

I now have the “Old-fashioned ectremely expensive complete top veneers – the type that they had to grind down all of my teeth. This was recommended because I had gum disease which was supposedly cured after surgery. Now, I have receeding gums – just one tooth at the top that shows my own tooth and the space between! It looks awful! Can anything be done to correct this?

I m 35, Is there any remedy for my shrinking gum?

Hello. I have worn false teeth for 35yrs. My bottom gum has shrunk so there is hardly any ridge for my dentures to sit on and I now look as if I don’t have bottom dentures in! Can anything be done to remedy this?

I am 12,Can I have teeth whitening?

I am a female aged 12 going 13 in May the 22nd. I would like to get teethwhitening because my teeth are yellow, i brush my teeth regulary don’t smoke and don’t drink coffee, my mum is ok with it but she said it will cause trouble in the future like cancer or something else. My question is will it cause cancer in the future and how much is it and how old do i need to be. Thanks for all the help and trouble i caused. Hiya, I’m 14 and have just been advised to get braces :(. I have a huge overbite due to sucking my thumb at an early age and I really hate it. Hi, I have been wearing a denture for 30 years, I have 3 front top middle teeth. My denture is a metal plate with 2 wires that wrap around my teeth. I have had 3-4 in total also tried acylic one at one stage of which made me keep heeving, couldn’t take to it at all. My denture now is very lose and irritating my palet and gums I expect and my dentist today suggests I have another acrylic one without wires as he doesn’t recomend the metal ones anymore. He has quoted me £198 (nhs). I was wandering if I would perhaps be able to have a Valplast one with some back teeth on as I haven’t had any back top teeth since I was 19 – 20yrs old. If I could I would rather put the £198 towards this as if I have another acylic one I may not be able to wear it again. I live in Birmingham. could you give me some idea of a price and maybe recomend someone In Birmingham. I am getting married in September this year and would love the confidence to smile.
