Hello, I am 56yrs old and have been ashamed of my slightly protruding upper and lower teeth for so long. I also suffer with a degree of gum disease and teeth whitening has not worked for me. Is there a treatment (not braces / Invisalign) which allows the upper and lower sets to be better aligned / positioned which does not impair the bite and for veneers or other treatment to improve the look and colour?

I am a 32 year old ive have had eight tooth fillings

Hello Dr Komal Suri, I am a 32 year old, have had eight tooth fillings done with silver amalgum about twelve years ago. I have not been to a dentist since, Recently I have noticed three dark spots on the teeth inside my mouth which also cause some uncomfortable pain. What could be the cause of these symptoms? Is it advisible to have the old silver amalgum fillings replaced with white ones? as I belive silver amalgum is toxic heavy metal which can promote disease like cancer. Hi i have been to a dentist and the options he gave was to have crowns on my front four or have a bridge but to have crowns it was 600 a tooth but was wondering with a bridge is it for each tooth or the whole bridge as i need the 4 at the front replacing and was wondering what would be cheaper thanks

I woud like to know how much discomfort to expect after veneers are fitted

I woud like to know how much discomfort to expect after veneers are fitted. I had 6 veneers fitted three weeks ago and have had to take strong painkillers night and day ever since. This is not sensitivity but a throbbing pain which barely leaves me for any length of time. I stay almost 70 miles away from my dentist but saw him today. He says this is normal and usually takes anything from 2 to 8 weeks for everything to settle down. Is this truly the case? If I had known this was going to happen I would never have had it done. Please reply. Thank you for your time.

Have a bridge which was in 2004 it has become very slack, it has 6 teeth 2 of which are mine in top. my dentist says need denture NEVER what would you recommend. have looked possibility of implants but dont know if suitable cause am a non dependant diabetic please advise what treatment you would take

I have had root treatment on a tooth(fourth from the front} and the abcess on my gum has not fully gone. My dentist said I only have two options: to have the tooth removed now or to leave it and see what happens. He said there is no point having another root treatment. I don’t want to have a big gap showing when I smile, is there a alternative? Thanks
