Are My Health Conditions Due to My Dentures?

My partial dentures are ground down badly – I grind my teeth. Can the metal and plastic make me sick? I have developed GERD and AFib recently. These conditions came upon me suddenly, along with a lot of tension. I feel run-down and tired all the time. How should I clean my partial dentures? My insurance won’t give me new partial dentures until next year. Do you think they might make an exception if they see how ground down they are?

Hi, thank you for your question. Your conditions aren’t due to the dentures. I don’t know about the insurance but it would be worth finding out from them. Kind regards, Andrew.
