Is There More To My Problem Than Tooth Grinding?

Thursday, July 21st, 2016
Q.

I have had severe pain, like neuralgia, in my upper teeth and jaw for a while. The dentist says all X-rays are normal. There is no decay and no seen cracks. My pain is worsening. She said because it is both sides, I am grinding my teeth without realizing and need a mouth guard. I am quite skeptical about this and seek a second opinion.I am in pain all the time and frustrated when told there is nothing wrong with my teeth.

Are My Health Conditions Due to My Dentures?

Tuesday, May 31st, 2016
Q.

My partial dentures are ground down badly – I grind my teeth. Can the metal and plastic make me sick? I have developed GERD and AFib recently. These conditions came upon me suddenly, along with a lot of tension. I feel run-down and tired all the time. How should I clean my partial dentures? My insurance won’t give me new partial dentures until next year. Do you think they might make an exception if they see how ground down they are?

Is invisalign worth the cost in regards to my situation?

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010
Q.
HELLO, I am 32 years old and my dentist recommened invisaline for me and my teeth are straight, not crooked, just i have very mild genetic gaps and im wondering if i really need it or im wasting money? My father had his front top teeth done in veneers to close his genetic gap and he said for me to do the same as he did, and he said my gaps are small. All my teeth in my mouth are all mildly spaced ,floss is a breeze! what about lumineers? What would you recommend? Oh, and my teeth are not real big and im a mild grinder/clencher once in a while, and its when im stressed i think. what should i do? I ALREADY DID THE PUDDY FITTING FOR THE invisaline and im in the waiting period , can i back out of it now?,
