A Yorkshire dental implant manufacturer has secured funding to support global expansion plans.

Neoss, a Harrogate-based firm, has secured £1 million to fund expansion plans. Funding has been approved by NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland Invoice Finance, after providing evidence of increasing sales in Europe, the USA and the UK.

Neoss was established 11 years ago and the firm currently employs 108 people. The team has pioneered a range of dental implants, which are specifically designed to promote integration and speed up the healing process.

The company sells to laboratories, dental practices and universities and exports 95 percent of the products manufactured in the UK. Neoss has branches in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, the USA, Italy, Austria and Germany and a projected turnover of £15 million this financial year.

Guy Leaver, chief financial officer, said that the business is growing quickly and it needs working capital to fund the expanding markets in Australia, the United States and Europe.

Paul Dawson, from NatWest, said that NatWest is an excellent example of a successful business with an expanding export market.
