Wrigley’s launches new chewing gum to promote good oral health

Sample News Big

Wrigley’s, the leading chewing gum brand, has announced the launch of three brand new additions to its bestselling Extra range of chewing gum.

The new products, including Extra Ice Spearmint, Extra Ice White and Extra Ice Peppermint, all contain 50% xylitol. Xylitol has been proven to promote good oral health, by protecting against cavities and preventing plaque formation.

Many dentists recommend chewing sugar-free gum after meals, as this helps to stimulate saliva production and wash away food particles and plaque. The new Extra range of products will be particularly beneficial for oral health and is approved by the British Dental Health Foundation.

Wrigley’s is excited about the launch of the new products, which will be available from retailers and dental practices next month. Adrian Toomey, the oral care brand manager, said that the new products are a great way for people to maintain good oral hygiene throughout the day; chewing gum helps to neutralise acid in the mouth and aids tooth mineralisation.
