Wirral dental practice hosts star-studded open day
A dental team from Heswall hosted a star-studded open day recently.
The Heswall Dental Practice owners, Drs Kate Preston, Katie Shaw and Luke Sargeant, invited existing patients and residents to the event. The trio purchased the practice, which is located on the Mount, in 2019.
The open day event offered an opportunity for patients to learn more about new services and for residents who may be looking for a new practice to have a look around. The event, which took place on April 29th, was open to all. There was a saxophonist playing and visitors enjoyed refreshments and drinks.
The team invited one of their patients to cut the ribbon to celebrate the development and expansion of the practice following the addition of an extra surgery. The special guest was Mike McCartney, a member of ‘60s band, The Scaffold, and the younger brother of Beatles legend, Sir Paul McCartney. Mike is proud to be a patient at the practice and was delighted to step up and take centre stage at the open day.
The expansion of the practice has enabled the owners to extend the treatment list, which now includes Invisalign invisible braces, composite bonding and the latest facial aesthetic treatments.
The open day allowed patients and members of the public who might be thinking about having dental treatment to learn more about new treatments and meet the team. It was also a great opportunity to enjoy a drink and live music with other residents. On the day, visitors could also snap up raffle tickets to enter a draw, which raised funds for Dentaid and Dementia UK. The practice team had collected a fantastic array of prizes donated by local businesses in the run-up to the open day and thanked all those who got involved for their generosity.
