Wiltshire Dentists Thrilled With Movember Fundraising Total

Sample News Big

Members of staff at a Devizes dental practice are all smiles after smashing their fundraising total for Movember.

Five members of the team, including dentists, Paul Silvester, Paul Hughes and Nick Findall, dental technician, Jamie Gillett and hygienist, Phil Wood, took part in the challenge to grow a moustache during the month of November in support of the annual Movember campaign.

This was the first time the team had supported Movember and they set themselves a fundraising target of £100, which they passed with ease; in total, they raised more than £600, a sum which delighted everyone.

Although the moustaches were itchy, the male members of staff said that they were glad to support the campaign, which raises awareness of male cancers and mental health disorders, as well as generating funds for the Movember Foundation, which supports charities helping men affected by these health conditions.

The female members of staff also did their bit, donning fake stick-on moustaches in support of their colleagues.

The team thanked everyone for their support and kind donations.
