Dentists in Wilmslow have submitted a planning application to turn a retail unit into a brand new practice.

A proposal to change the use of a ground floor retail unit into a dental surgery has been submitted to Cheshire East Council. The unit is located at 56, Alderley Road. Currently, the premises are part of a kitchen showroom.

If the application is approved, the remaining space will continue to be used as a kitchen showroom, and the unit in question will be converted into a dental practice. The planning application includes details of the new surgery. If the plans are given the green light, the practice will open from 8am until 6pm from Monday to Friday and there will be four full-time members of staff on the team.

The application will be available to view online on Cheshire East Council’s website until the 7th December. The reference number for the proposal is 17/5660M. Members of the public are invited to submit comments or opinions before the 7th December. The council is expected to make a decision by the 5th January 2018.
