US dentists introduce the revolutionary new dental face lift

Cosmetic dentists in America have introduced a revolutionary new treatment, which claims to knock years off, as well as straightening the teeth.

The £6,000 procedure involves four stages of treatment, including the application and manipulation of porcelain veneers; the veneers are artistically arranged to make a subtle change to the shape of the face. Placing veneers strategically makes the smile look wider, as well as increasing the tautness of the lower jaw and surrounding tissue.

The new treatment, which promises to be a great success, was first offered in America and is gradually making its way across the Atlantic to the UK. Dr Mervyn Druian, from the London Centre for Cosmetic Dentistry, the first clinic to offer the Non-Surgical Smile Lift in the UK, claims the treatment will prove to be a huge success in the future, as people look for ways to preserve their youthful looks. Most people associate ageing with sagging skin and the development of wrinkles; however, our teeth can show the signs of ageing as well. According to Dr Druian, the jaw recedes when we get older and this causes the lower section of the face to droop.

Some experts and dentists are rejecting the Non-Smile Surgical Smile Lift as a “fad”; Dr Irfan Ahmad, a renowned aesthetic dentist, said that the treatment involved extensive work and involved a great deal of risk. However, Deborah Chester, a writer from Tufnell Park, London, had the treatment and is delighted with the results; she said that she had absolutely no regrets and loved the new youthful glow the treatment gave her.
