Unlikely Tooth Fairy star is rock hard
Former wrestler The Rock, aka Dwayne Johnson, is starring in new kids movie ‘The Tooth Fairy’.
Johnson, who rose to fame with his signature wrestling move The People’s elbow, plays a grumpy ice hockey play who is forced to become a tooth fairy in the movie. This new role changes his character’s moody aggressive outlook on life.
He joins a number of Hollywood stars that have abandoned their gritty image to play softer characters.
In 1987 Eddie Murphy was known for his shockingly dirty stand-up comedy in ‘Eddie Murphy Raw’. However, he later appeared in Disney’s ‘Nutty professor’ and ‘Dr Doolittle’.
Similarly, One time New York bouncer Vin Diseal went from appearing in ‘The Fast and the Furious’ to ‘The Pacifier’ and former Mr Universe Arnold Schwarzenegger went from ‘Terminator’ to ‘Kindergarten Cop’.
