Toothpaste: Cleans more than just teeth

Sample News Big
Everybody has something in their house that they’ve never been able to get stain out of. So, why not try toothpaste?
Toothpaste does an excellent job polishing, cleaning and whitening your teeth but it can also work wonders on stained clothing and shoes, grubby metals and marks on the wall.
Associated Content today recommended a few ways that toothpaste works best:
Grass stains:  These stains can be the most stubborn to get out especially when your kids have rubbed it into their clothes or inconsiderate people have walked it into your carpet. Never fear, just dampen your stained fabric and rub in a blob of toothpaste with your fingers. Work it into a lather and rinse with cool water. Repeat as many times as necessary but be wary as the paste can bleach certain colours. This technique also works on soy sauce, ink and some chocolate stains.
Metals: These can be a tough material to clean, especially if there are hard to reach bits. Not with toothpaste. Just use an old toothbrush and apply the paste as you would with your teeth. Then just get scrubbing at the tough places, like your blender blades, kitchen hobs, taps, sports equipment and ash trays, and Bob’s your uncle.
Ornaments and jewellery: Just use the above toothbrush and paste method on your tired looking chains, silverware, china dinnerware and figurines and they’ll look as good as new.
Walls: Many of us have little ones running around and don’t they just love drawing on the walls with their crayons. This can be an easily solved problem if you just rub the defaced paper, tiles or vinyl with some toothpaste and a damp cloth.
Finger nails: This wonder paste can also be used to scrub your fingernails. With toothpaste stubborn dirt will be no more and your nails will look great.
Give it a try. Toothpaste is the answer.
