A six-year-old girl’s design for a tooth fairy doll is to go on sale in Argos from Wednesday 14 October.
Aine Gallagher, from Dungannon, could possibly have become the UK’s youngest inventor when her design was chosen for production above 700 other in the Argos’ design a toy competition.
Tilly the Tooth Fairy will join the nation’s most popular toys in Argos stores for the build-up to Christmas.
The doll, which costs around £7.99, is designed to be placed under a child’s pillow and includes a special pouch where kids can put their teeth.
UTV quotes Aine saying that she was really excited that her toy is being brought to life.
Tina, Aine’s mother, added that she was delighted that Aine had won the competition and said she couldn’t quite believe what had happened.

She said that her daughter was very excited about Tilly the Tooth Fairy doll coming to life.
Ian Chaplin, trading manager for toys at Argos, called the Tilly the Tooth Fairy “a brilliant idea” and said that Aine had done “exceptionally well” to win the competition.
He added by saying: “The tooth fairy is an important part of the early childhood experience; even grown-ups can remember losing their first tooth and the magic of finding money under their pillow.”
