Thieves Steal Charity Money from Bishop’s Stortford Dental Practice

Thieves have broken into a dental practice in Bishop’s Stortford, stealing charity money and petty cash.

The incident took place at Hockerill Dental Surgery on Wednesday 14th January between 5.30 and 6.30pm.

Police believe that robbers smashed the front window and then released the sash, enabling them to get inside. Once inside the surgery, they searched through cupboards and drawers and took cash worth £150, some of which had been raised for charity. They also caused £100 worth of damage to the window.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who was in the area at the time and have released a description of the suspect, who is believed to be a white male with slim build. He is believed to be aged around 20-25 years old and was wearing a pale top and pale trousers with a black bobble hat.

Nobody was harmed in the incident.
