Teaching expert joins dental school
An expert on internet teaching is developing a world-wide virtual dental school.
Prof Frank Rennie has been made a visiting professor at King’s College London, which is leading a £2.3million government-funded project to help dental students.
Prof Rennie, who permanently works at The University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), Inverness, has been brought in by King’s to use his expertise to help develop the online dental school.
His college Dr Isobel Madden, head of the School of Oral Health Science at UHI, has also been enlisted by King’s to work on the project.
