Study suggests Birmingham is the cheapest place to have Invisalign treatment
Research conducted by the team at Natural Smiles Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry suggests that Birmingham is among the cheapest places in England to have Invisalign treatment.
The study found that prices are around £500 cheaper in Birmingham compared to the national average. London is the most expensive place to have Invisalign treatment.
Figures suggest that patients in Birmingham pay around £2004.50 for treatment compared to the national average of £2,500. In London, clients can expect to pay an average of £2770 for Invisalign braces.
Invisalign is one of the most popular orthodontic systems available at the moment. Offering the opportunity to wear clear, removable braces, Invisalign is a popular option for teenagers and adults, as it provides a discreet, flexible alternative to traditional fixed braces.
Unlike fixed braces, which are attached to the teeth, Invisalign treatment involves wearing a series of removable, custom-made aligners. Each aligner is worn for two weeks and the braces are taken out to clean the teeth, eat and drink.
Invisalign is usually recommended for patients who have minor or moderate issues, such as gaps between the teeth or mild overcrowding.
Recent data from Align Technology, the company behind Invisalign, shows that 11 million people use Invisalign. Statistics show that there has been a sharp increase in demand in the last 12 months.
This could be due to the impact of spending more time on social media, video calling apps and platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Dentists are seeing more people who want to correct orthodontic issues and enjoy a more attractive smile.
