Strictly Come Dancing champion, Abbey Clancy was visibly shocked with Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly called her name after an intense and exciting final before Christmas and has been smiling ever since, but her celebrations have resulted in an urgent dash to the dentist.

Model and presenter, Abbey, who is married to Peter Crouch, had to organise an urgent appointment at the Liverpool Dental Spa after chipping her tooth during an over-enthusiastic celebration with her professional partner, Alijaz Skorjanec; the stunning blonde, who captivated audiences with beautiful ballroom dances and sizzling Latin routines, rushed to the dentist after biting the famous trophy and subsequently breaking her tooth.

Debbie McGovern, from Liverpool Dental Spa, explained that Abbey had come in needing restorative treatment for her tooth after she chipped it quite badly biting down on the glitterball trophy while celebrating the victory with Alijaz. She needed treatment urgently in time for the start of the live tour, which is currently taking place in cities all over the UK.

After treatment to patch up the tooth, Abbey took to Twitter to thank the dental team, tweeting, “thank u for fixing my chipped front tooth, promise I won’t try and eat my glitterball again ha ha.”
