Stowmarket dentist plans to expand team after acquiring popular practice
An ambitious dentist has grand plans to expand the team and offer new services after acquiring a popular Stowmarket dental practice.
Dr Bahnu Moturi has recently taken over the reins at Bury House Dental Practice and is already looking forward to adding new team members and offering patients a wider range of services. She also has plans to create more treatment rooms in the future.
Dr Moturi is keen to expand the existing team of ten, which has remained in place since the acquisition, to include an implantologist and an endodontist.
Speaking about the practice, Dr Moturi said that it was an “exciting experience” to take on your own clinic and added that she was looking forward to developing the practice and expanding the treatment list to evolve in line with patient demands.
People expect a lot from dental practices today, Dr Moturi explained, and the team is excited to introduce new services and take the practice to “new heights.”
Adding highly-skilled dentists with specialist interests and increasing the number of treatment rooms will enable local patients to benefit from the most advanced treatments on the market, including adult braces and dental implants.
Studies show that the demand for cosmetic dentistry has increased during the pandemic. Dr Moturi wants to move the business forward to capitalise on the popularity of innovative dental treatments and ensure that her patients have access to services on their doorstep.
As well as adding more private patients to the list, the team is also hoping to increase NHS capacity amid serious shortages of places in Suffolk. At the moment, Dr Moturi cannot give a timeframe but she is hopeful that the practice will be able to treat more NHS patients in the future.
