Somerset Dental Team Celebrates British Dental Association Honour
A Somerset dental team is celebrating after receiving a prestigious honour from the British Dental Association.
Wedmore Dental Practice has recently been awarded Silver Membership of the British Dental Association’s Good Practice Scheme, which recognises consistently high standards of dental care over a 7 year period. Gold Membership is the next goal for the practice, which recognises a decade of membership of the Good practice Scheme.
In order to be recognised by the BDA, practices must comply with very high standards of care and customer service. Members of staff must also adhere to health and safety and training regulations and demonstrate that they are willing to go the extra mile to provide the best possible care for their patients.
A spokesman for the practice said that the Silver Membership award is a great honour and recognition of the hard work and commitment of the staff team. He added that it has been a busy and successful year at the practice, with the silver award and the Investors in People award, which was confirmed in April.
