A rapidly growing dental company has expanded its portfolio after acquiring three dental practices in Shropshire.

Todays Dental has purchased The Dental Spa and Winchester House Dental Practice in Shrewsbury and Pontesbury Dental Practice in Pontesbury. The trio of practices was owned and run by Christopher Quarmby, Susanne Ellis and Roy Dixon. Mr Quarmby purchased The Dental Spa in 2013 and later added Winchester House and Pontesbury Dental Practice.

Mr Quarmby said that it had been a great honour to run the practices for a decade. He added that he was delighted to find an ambitious company that was willing to buy all three practices and said that he had confidence that Todays Dental would build on the successes of the surgeries and continue to provide excellent standards of care for patients in Shropshire. The practices were sold for an undisclosed fee.

The acquisition will see new ownership but Todays Dental will be working with the existing staff teams. The goal is to develop the business while maintaining the friendly, familiar feel patients have come to expect. The new owners are looking to expand with new treatments and a wider range of services.

Acquisitions director at Todays Dental, Steve Williams, described the group as ‘unique’ and said that the three Shropshire practices represented an excellent opportunity to invest in the area and take the business forward.
The sale was overseen by Christie & Co.
