Shrewsbury dentist has plenty to smile about after acquiring share of local practice
A dentist from Shrewsbury has plenty to smile about after acquiring a share of a popular local practice.
Dr Paul Godbold is now the owner of a 33% stake in New Park House Dental. Paul has worked at the practice for four years and has more than 20 years of experience.
The practice has eight surgeries and currently has around 10,000 patients on its books. By buying into the business, Paul will be actively involved in planning growth strategies with the other partners. The team has plans to add an extra treatment room and a new staff area.
One of the main goals is to develop the treatment list. Paul has a special interest in dental implants, and this is an area he is keen to focus on in the future.
Speaking about the acquisition, Paul said that he had loved working at New Park House Dental for the past four years and was excited to join the management team. The opportunity to buy into the business was “too good to turn down” and provides an opportunity to get involved in growing the practice. Paul thanked the other partners and the team at Lloyds Bank for helping to pursue a “new avenue” in his career.
