Sheffield Dental Practice scoops Top Award
Members of staff from Thompson and Thomas are celebrating after receiving an award at the Dental Awards in London.
The Sheffield practice has enjoyed great success at the awards ceremony in the past and this year, the practice scooped the award for the Best National Smile Month Event for their ‘Better Late Than Never, Dentists on Tour’ campaign.
The practice now has a very impressive collection of 19 awards since 2005. Jane Armitage, practice manager, said that it was a delight to receive the award, as the practice is strongly committed to promoting oral health and is a supporter of the National Smile Month campaign.
The practice is now preparing for this year’s National Smile Month campaign, which will start in the coming weeks.
The Better Late Than Never Tour was held in October as practice manager, Jane Armitage was diagnosed with a chest condition just prior to the start of national Smile Month, which made it impossible to organise a large-scale event. The practice was given permission by Dr Nigel Carter, Chief Executive of the British Dental Health Foundation, to host the event at a later date.
