Sheffield Cancer Charity Appeals for Information Following Collection Box Theft at Dental Surgery

Sample News Big

Members of staff at a cancer charity based in Sheffield are appealing for information after collection boxes were stolen from a local dental practice and a café.

Thieves have taken boxes on display at Dore Dental Care in Causeway Head Road and Dore and Scott’s Pantry in Broomhill. The boxes contained donations for Cavendish Cancer Care, a small local charity, which helps to provide patients with cancer with counselling and alternative therapies during their treatment.

Fundraising team member Victoria Wood urged anyone who has any information about the robberies to come forward. The charity relies on donations from the public to provide cancer patients with valuable therapies, and without the generosity of local residents, the charity wouldn’t be able to continue.

If anyone has any information about the boxes, they are advised to contact the charity, which is based in the Broomhill area of the city, or to ring the police on the non-emergency number.
