Shaun Ryder Advises X Factor Winner, James Arthur, To See A Dentist
Shaun Ryder, frontman of the Happy Mondays and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here contestant, has urged X Factor winner, James Arthur, to visit his dentist.
Ryder had notoriously bad teeth before having extensive cosmetic dental treatment in 2006 and he has advised Arthur to follow suit.
Ryder said that he had seen a fair bit of the X Factor and he liked James all the way through; he added that he was very talented, but advised him to see his dentist to sort out his smile.
James has already said that the first thing he wants to treat himself to is a new smile; he said that during the series he was worried that he came across as grumpy and disinterested, but revealed that he doesn’t like to smile much because he hates his teeth. When asked how we would celebrate his success, Arthur said that he was looking forward to getting his smile sorted.
James helped to dispel rumours that the X Factor was in turmoil after his new single, a cover of Shontelle’s Impossible, shot to number one last week, becoming the fastest single of the year.
